Qbox Gallery was founded in 2005 and is a curatorial dealership whose intention is to strengthen local ties and to promote contemporary artists on an international level. Its premises in the heart of Athens (in the Central Food Market) function as a platform for young and emerging artists and curators.
Most exhibition invitations are sized A3 on various papers and printed with two colours (2 pantones or 1 pantone+embossing).
The invites get sent without an envelope when folded in four (with the help of a round sticker).
This way I keep costs down while the invite doubles as a poster.
All of these experiments were made to cost as less as possible while maintaing the best possible feel and effect.
Given the creative freedom (and resposibility) by the gallery curator,
I create a unique branding status for the gallery and also I have fun making and designing them.
